Movember Kicks Off 'Hairy Ribbon' Awareness Month For Men's Health

What was shocking to us back then, was how many conversations and how much controversy the growth of a new moustache created. Bosses, girlfriends, even strangers on the street would stop, stare and ask why the moustache?

It was only after we said goodbye to our Mo's in 2003, that we had time to reflect on how this month long journey had impacted us. Some of us realized we weren't that well endowed in the upper lip area, while others grew full moustaches within a week. One thing was certain, regardless of the state of our Mo's it got people talking.

Star Wars 7 Plot Will Be "an Original Story," Says Lucasfilm Source

Well, we know that, whatever the plot of Episode 7, George Lucas won't have a heavy hand in the day-to-day creation of it. He's apparently written the treatments for the films, but he won't produce or direct—an excellent opportunity for another visionary to jettison Jar Jar Binks out of an airlock permanently. As for the plot, Star Wars super fans have a theory on what they'll be seeing next. But I have a surprise for them: They're wrong. If you're a fan, you're definitely gonna want to read on.

'Star Wars Episode 7' And Disney: Five Fire Burning Questions

Role Call

The implication of the "Episode 7" title is that we're out of prequel territory and into the land beyond the original trilogy. That's scary turf for a few reasons, one of the big ones being... well, who's going to return? It's hard to imagine Harrison Ford getting on board with a Han Solo reprise given his cold stance towards "Star Wars" over the years, unless a Millennium Falcon-load of cash arrives at his front door. It's easier to see how other franchise mainstays — like C-3PO actor Anthony Daniels or Chewbacca himself, Peter Mathew — might return without the promise of similarly massive paychecks. There's also this dreaded possibility: recasting. We shudder to think.

Dancing With the Stars: Backstage Story Why Melissa Rycroft take Medication during rehearsals

Dancing With the Stars
"I feel everything. We didn't take pain medication today simply because I wanted to be able to feel if my neck was doing something it shouldn't be able to," Rycroft told E! News, adding she and partner Tony Dovolani had a signal in case something hurt mid-dance. "I was going to squeeze his hand if something twisted the wrong way and that just meant stop."
"As of 10 this morning, we still didn't have clearance to dance," Rycroft said about being at the hospital. They got a second and third opinion and were finally given the A-OK right before they went on.

The Walking Dead season 3, episode 2 recap now

The second episode of season 3 of “The Walking Dead” picked up right where the wild, entertaining premier left off. Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and the crew are in the prison’s cafeteria where they are now facing off with some bunkered up inmates. Hershel (Scott Wilson) had been bitten by a zombie and Rick, in an effort to save him, chopped his leg off at the knee. The guys gets Hershel up onto a rolling cart and leave the cafeteria headed back for their base in Cell Block C. The prisoners are a little shocked, but follow them.

Patti LuPone, Da’Vine Joy Randolph and More Lead Our Dream Cast for Hocus Pocus: The Musical

Halloween is just around the corner, and while there are no shortage of horror movies and thrillers to commemorate the holiday, the candy-filled night means only one thing for children of the ‘90s: Hocus Pocus. The 1993 film starred Bette Midler, Kathy Najimy and Sarah Jessica Parker as the Sanderson sisters, three witches that rise from the dead one Halloween night to wreak havoc (and do a big musical number) in

"Nashville": Connie Britton and Hayden Panettiere shine in series premiere

"Nashville" had plenty of music in its premiere, but don't mistake this show for "Glee," or even "Smash."

Country music is an integral part of this ABC drama created by Callie Khouri, but that's because it's an integral part of its namesake city. But it's not the only thing the show's about - there's much more going on in this promising, confident series premiere.

AVRIL LAVIGNE VS. MILEY CYRUS: WHOSE ENGAGEMENT RING DO YOU LIKE BEST? – READERS POLL

A few months ago, news broke that Miley Cyrus was engaged to her actor BF Liam Hemsworth. While this came as a slight shocker, given that both Miley and Liam are still very young, it didn’t make our jaws drop like the news of Avril Lavigne‘s engagement to Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger… can you say “random?”
Avril Lavigne Engagement Ring Miley Cyrus Engagement Ring
After announcing their engagements, both Avril and Miley showed off their engagement rings to the press. The songstress’ rings are very different and very beautiful, but whose engagement ring suits your taste more?

Before getting down on one knee to propose, Chad Kroeger bought his lady love Avril a monster of a rock. Her ring, which is pictured on the left above, is “platinum-set pear-shape diamond with half moons totaling 14 carats from XIVKARATS in Beverly Hills,” according to PEOPLE. It’s Avril’s dream ring, and even though this engagement news came way out of left field (who knew they were even dating?!), we couldn’t be happier for the ‘What the Hell’ hit maker.

OFFSTAGE: Hayden Panettiere Is Ready for Nashville

Actress Hayden Panettiere isn't just going to play the part of Juliette Barnes when the new ABC drama,

Nashville' premiere review: The season's best new show, some sources of its music and its drama: 'What the hell was THAT?'

One of the great pleasures of Nashville is that it arrived fully formed, with a sure sense of what it wants to accomplish dramatically, and with a masterful command of atmosphere and setting. No other new show this season projects such effortless assurance, hits so many notes of emotion. Hell, no other scripted show hits so many just plain notes: Its music is as interesting as its storytelling.

'Duck Dynasty' returns tonight: Who's watching A&E's quirky rags-to-riches reality show?

"Duck Dynasty's" "redneck" millionaires have returned! A&E's rags-to-riches reality series -- about a folksy Louisiana family who turned their whittled duck-call business into a hugely profitable business empire -- premieres its second season tonight (Oct. 10) with two new back-to-back episodes.

The Robertsons, who look more like a ZZ Top cover band than boardroom CEOs, still enjoy a simple life in their Louisiana bayou home -- and that's the appeal of this quirky show.

Nashville TV Show Premiere Review: Connie Britton and Hayden Panettiere Make Country Music Mainstream

Country music is so uniquely American that I honestly don't know if it can cross international lines; heck, sometimes I don't even know if it can really cross the Mason Dixon line. Brad Paisley puts it best in his song “This is Country Music” when he sings “it ain’t hip to sing about tractors, trucks/ little towns and mama/ yea that might be true/ but this is country music and we do.” These reasons that might make country music square are the very same reasons that
