Services pending for 'Bad News Bears' actress Sammi Kane Kraft

Services were pending Thursday for Sammi Kane Kraft, whose real-life baseball skills landed her the role of the pitching ace in the only film she ever made, 2005's "Bad News Bears."

Kraft, 20, died early Tuesday in a car accident on the 10 Freeway near Crenshaw Boulevard.

She was a passenger in an Audi that was speeding on the westbound freeway about 1:30 a.m. when it rear-ended a big rig and was then struck by another car, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Kraft was pronounced dead at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, said her brother Frankie Kraft.

Molly Kate Adams, the 21-year-old driver of the Audi, was treated for moderate injuries and arrested on suspicion of felony drunk driving, the CHP said. The two other drivers escaped without major injury.

A new movie starring Ray Liotta, Ashley Judd, Seth Green, and Joe Pantoliano, has been filming in and around Nashville for the past couple of weeks.

The Identical follows the path of a musical family from the 1950s through the 1970s. “It’s a fictional story but one that is based on many key historical moments,” says writer Howie Klausner. “I think anyone who lived through that time period will appreciate the evolution and history of Rock and Roll portrayed in this film.”

Mila Kunis named Esquire's Sexiest Woman Alive 2012

Another reason to be jealous of Ashton Kutcher: His rumored girlfriend, Mila Kunis, has just been named the Sexiest Woman Alive 2012 by Esquire magazine.

Kunis, who was spotted around metro Detroit last year during filming of director Sam Raimi's upcoming "Oz: The Great and Powerful," grabbed the hot-stuff crown from last year's winner, R&B singing sensation Rihanna.

Esquire editors also highlighted 23 other women they loved this year, including Katie Holmes; bad "Twilight" girl Kristen Stewart; former "Detroit 1-8-7" star Natalie Martinez, and actress Olivia Munn, who stars on "Newsroom" with Jeff Daniels.

Actor Stacey Dash attacked for supporting Mitt Romney

Some Obama supporters accused the actress of “voting for white supremacy,” claiming she “is white with a dark tan,” and others slurred Dash, launching a myriad of offensive names at her.

Actress Stacey Dash hit with racially-charged attacks after endorsing Romney

“Clueless” star Stacey Dash recently tweeted her support for Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney, accompanied by a patriotic swimsuit picture of herself.
But now her political viewpoint has become the subject of online attacks, with many expressing crude distaste that she isn’t endorsing President Obama – and race has become a key motivator behind the digital abuse.
“You’re an unemployed black woman endorsing Mitt Romney. You’re voting against yourself thrice.
