afternoon that their Gala2012 performer, Katharine McPhee had to back out for immediate medical reasons, according to a news release.Katharine McPhee was scheduled for an Oct. 20 performance at Zoellner Arts Center. Gala2012 will instead feature Broadway, television and film star Kristin Chenoweth. Chenoweth appeared as the "Glinda the Good Witch" in "Wicked" and most recently starred opposite Sean Hayes in "Promises, Promises."She also stars in the CBS show "The Good Wife."
McPhee, star of NBC's "Smash" and a runner-up on "American Idol," was announced last May and tickets (which went on sale in July) ranged from $75-$550.
