"Obama" team tweets red, white and blue poster, critics see only red

Last night, the @BarackObama account tweeted a link to a new item in its campaign store with the accompanying text: "A poster to say there are no red states or blue states, only the United States." That poster — one of four in the limited-edition "Artists for Obama" campaign — has gotten some folks way pissed. Designers Ross Bruggink and Dan Olson reimagined the American flag with the Obama "O" logo in the upper corner, and conservative websites immediately started frothing, claiming that Obama had violated the U.S. Flag Code in more than one way. "I'm allowed to burn this flag, right?" one user tweeted. Sure, if you buy it for $35 first. [Source]
